I Dug Into Crumbl's $1.2M Cookie Business (Here's the Real Profit)
Crumbl 2024 Reports are finally out. Let's see how they did last year!
Crumbl’s 2024 sales numbers just dropped and looks like the brand is making a comeback after last years 50% drop in sales…take a look and make sure to subscribe to the only newsletter that figures out how much these businesses ACTUALLY make.
đź’µ What You Came For
Revenue | $1,354,000/year |
Profit | $251,706/year |
Startup Cost | $500,000 |
Profit Margin | 20.8% |
Time to Break Even | ~2 years |
📦 What You're Actually Buying
When you buy into Crumbl, you’re not just getting the brand—you’re paying for cookie tech (yes, there’s an app), recipes, buildout support, and a lot of sugar.
Your startup costs come from:
Franchise fee (~$50K)
Equipment and store build (~$350k-$1M)
Operating cash (~100K)
Other fees (training, POS, etc.)
They also require you to have liquid $150k
🧮 How the Money Flows
Crumbl makes their money from your sales. They take a 8% royalty, plus 2% for marketing. If you’re pulling in $1.2M/year, they’re making ~$120K off you.
Break it down:
Avg monthly revenue: $100K
COGS: ~$30K
Labor: ~$25K
Rent + fees: ~$10K
Franchise royalties: $10K
Left with: ~$20–25K/month (pre-tax)
Not bad.
🤔 Would I Do It?
If I had the capital? Maybe. But you gotta really love managing people, be ready for some insane rush hours, and be cool with corporate watching your every move.
Also—cookie trends come and go. That scares me.
Last year, Crumbl sales fell by 50% year over year and were sitting at 150k average profit. So, though they have made a comeback this year, they need to continue the trend for me to really think about investing.
Side note: I’ve seen 5 competitors that are showing real potential show up in the last year. Now Crumbl might be way ahead then anyone else, but this could real saturated, real fast.
👀 What’s Next
Next week I’m looking at a business that costs way less to start but might actually make more profit: a power washing franchise. Stay tuned.

I send these out every week. Real numbers, no fluff. If you liked this, forward it to someone else who’s thinking about quitting their 9-to-5.
